The Marchettino found at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and sent us his latest video, in which we see the Carrozzeria Touring Disco Volante putting forward the V8 engine and hear the high idle. Even won the award for Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes of this year’s event.
Officially, we saw the production version at Geneva Motor Show, while a year ago the original. The car is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione with the company to want to beat the market six cars with the whole process in order to complete a car, it takes about six months and 4,000 man-hours.
The car was built to celebrate the 60th birthday of Alfa Romeo C 52 (which was remembered as Disco Volante). Combined with a sequential gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel and sends drive to the rear wheels via a limited slip differential.
0-100 km/h makes 4.2 seconds having a top speed of 292 km/h. Wheels on forged aluminum wheels 20″ with tires Pirelli PZero Rosso dimensions 265/30 front and 285/35 rear. Its dimensions are 4.613 mm long, 2.020 mm wide, 1.335 mm height and wheelbase of 2.696 mm and a weight ratio of 49:51.
