You may have seen several times in spy photos the Porsche 911 GT2 in a process of evolution, but the boss of Porsche 911, August Achleitner, indicates that this may be something different.

In a recent interview he claimed that the hardcore model has not yet gotten the green light mainly because of company policy and some technical issues.

What are these? According to Achleitner:

If you take a 911 Turbo S and observations of performance, if the motion to remove the front axle, got the GT2, but the car lacks grip.

This means that the GT2 could be slower than the Turbo S, which obviously would make the existence of GT2 unnecessary, according to some makers of Porsche.

Nevertheless, Achleitner the tone that will be GT3 RS or something similar. I personally believe that the range of the 911 will have all the classic versions that have made the model so successful.
