As we read in the file s time, Honda announced that the report of the New Delhi Auto Expo next February will present the Honda Vision XS-1 concept, but to publish a photo.

This essentially is the version of Honda Vezel for developing markets as the exchange value of the currency markets there is weaker and requires new cheaper model. The company describes it as a vehicle with “a sporty design and exceptional spaces according to the unique technologies of Honda”.

The new Honda Vision XS-1 model will be based on the Honda Brio, a car smaller than the Jazz and will be manufactured in India, Thailand and Indonesia. Other models using the larger version of the platform of Brio, is the Amaze sedan and the Mobilio minivan but in the case of the new cheap crossover, will need some modifications.

The final product will enter the category of Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster and if Honda manages and keep it under 4 meters, will benefit from a tax holiday that would give him a competitive advantage when it goes on sale in 2016.

Apart from Vision XS-1 concept, Honda will present several other models such as the Honda Accord Hybrid, Mobilio, Jazz, Amaze, Brio, City, CR-V and NSX concept.
