Still no chance to recover from the “shock and awe” called 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Chevrolet C7 comes to our land it short!
According to reports, the American company is thinking to send the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 version of the Corvette Stingray. The reason for this “tough” decision is that the evolution of a Corvette ZR1 will require significant investment in design, testing and certifications for efficiency gains that are likely to be disproportionate.
The 6.2-liter supercharged V8 of the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 delivers at least 625 horses and 861 Nm of torque and although it is still under development, the engineers at Chevrolet expect to exceed the previous ZR1 in performance for every possible test. By this logic, the big heads in Chevy, consider that it is not worth to waste a lot of money for little gain in sales and performance. Besides, it will be the first time a Corvette ZR1 will not release.
The first ZR-1 C4 and was developed in collaboration with Lotus before about 25 years. The C5 Corvette had ZR-1 and the issue reappeared with C6 who “drove” and the hyphen in the version name. Therefore it is neither unreasonable nor a tragedy that might not be on the ZR1 C7.
