The Cadillac introduced the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe before its debut on the report of Detroit Auto Show 2014. Curiously, the Cadillac ATS Coupe looks more conservative than they expected. It retains the same wheelbase with the sedan (2.77m) but has larger tracks and slightly more “aggressive” attitude. The design places like the doors, the roof, the rear fenders and trunk is new, as is the new grille with redesigned grille that bears the new company logo.
Inside features good quality leather and decorative aluminum, wood or carbon fiber. The new Cadillac ATS Coupe also has the Bose sound system that versions with premium surround sound, will play pre-recorded engine sounds to “enhance the driving experience.” Optional equipment, find all the extras connectivity (GPS navigation, Wi-Fi hotspot, CUE Infotainment system with eight-inch screen, etc.) and safety (collision warning, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, etc.).
Under the hood, it is either a turbocharged, two-liter, four-cylinder performance with 272 hp and 400 Nm of torque or a 3.6-liter V6 with 321 horses and 373 Nm of torque. The standard transmission consists of a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels but will be offered as both an extra 6-speed manual (with the two-liter only) and four-wheel.
The Cadillac did not make known the performance of new ATS Coupe, but in the press release stresses the dynamic road behavior and sport DNA of saying that the front brakes come from Brembo, the floor of the car is aerodynamic and weight distribution is perfectly 50:50 . If that is not enough, and offered a package that includes adjustable sport suspension, Magnetic Ride Control, limited slip differential, upgraded cooling system and 18-inch alloy wheels with performance tires. Sales of the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe will launch in the summer of 2014 and the price will be announced in the coming months. In terms of the ATS-V Coupe, the rumors want to tumble in production in the coming years.
