Porsche 911 Targa teased for Detroit, promises to be a modern classic

The Porsche announced something that we already knew, namely that it will bring to the report by Detroit Auto Show next week the Porsche 911 Targa.

The German company merely to give a teaser video, which does not appear anywhere in the car, but indicates that the design of the car is inspired by the original Porsche 911 Targa 1965, where it will have the typical bar of Targa, a moving roof and central “dressed” rear window. All these will be complemented with innovative technical solutions that would make the 911 a modern classic car.

Mechanically, it is different from other versions and thus are expected to wear the 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine performance of 350 hp and 390 Nm of torque and S versions of the larger 3.8-liter 400 horsepower performance and 440 Nm of torque.
