The report of the Los Angeles Auto Show, Toyota unveiled the Toyota Driver Awareness Research Vehicle (DARV), a vehicle based on the Sienna has been developed in collaboration with Microsoft.

Equipped with a range safety systems are designed to reduce the distraction of the driver before the driver even sit behind the wheel. The rear window on the driver’s side, has turned into a big screen showing important information when the driver approaches the car. Among these are information about the traffic, the weather, the meeting of the driver, and more.

The system uses sensor Microsoft Kinect, which supports gestures and can distinguish different users, so the screen to display the appropriate information depending on the driver. More details you can find in the press release below.
