As we saw from the presentation of the Lexus CT200h Facelift, the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show is the only reports being made right now in the world. There is also the Guangzhou Motor Show in China and there decided Infiniti to present the brand new 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that will be placed under the hood of Infiniti Q50 .

This new engine is added to the existing range of engines including Q50 sets like the V6 petrol engine of 3.7 liters, the 3.5-liter hybrid and the 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel. It uses direct injection technology and meets strict emissions standards Euro5. It delivers 211 horses at 5,500 rpm and 320Nm of (only) 1,250 rpm up to 3.500.

The engine is the result of collaboration of Infiniti with Daimler and will begin to be offered in the spring of 2014, initially only in China and then in other markets.
