The Lexus LF-NX Concept unveiled at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. When presented, wore a petrol cycle Atkinson 2.5 liters and a “very strong” gasoline. Now, the Japanese company, we introduced the turbo version.

Design, not much has changed. The 2014 Lexus LF-NX Turbo Concept shares its design with the hybrid LF-NX except some detail both at home and abroad “which reflect the capacity of the new two-liter turbo engine.” These details are usually color changes or small design changes but nothing new.

The new, hidden under the hood and is new not only for the LF-NX but for Lexus as a whole. I speak of course about the new two-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine which incorporates all available technologies Lexus. Apart from the D-4S, the VVT-i and the twin scroll turbo, interesting is the fact that the manifold is integrated with the cylinder head. According to Lexus, the powertrain is engineered to provide “rapid throttle response” without sacrificing fuel economy.
