The previous week and during the track 86 Festival Fuji Speedway, the Subaru through two teaser photographs revealed the last packet of the Subaru BRZ. Almost everyone we fell into the trap that the Japanese company our upcoming Subaru BRZ STI, but in fact this was the version tS concept and not the STI.
The Subaru chose to tS version may not post turbo so under the bonnet there is still aspirated 2-liter boxer engine performance of 200 hp and 205 Nm torque with changes “tuned by STI” version, basically limited to aesthetic and engineering, except for engine.
The “slightly improved” version of the Subaru BRZ tS, will be offered in two flavors: standard of Subaru. The standard and the GT-package, the second one has the big carbon spoiler Impreza RA STi with alloy wheels, seats Recaro, different shifter, new fog lamps and front splitter while go-fast parts have new suspension from Bilstein, reinforced shaft and for some strange reason, six-piston brakes from Brembo.
The standard tS, will not have the airfoil and several of the additional external or internal parts while the other is the same. Each of the two versions will be out in production to 250 units and will be released only on the Japanese market, with orders to start on 18 August and the production deploying in October. The price of the land of the rising sun will be at € 31.700 for the manual version and € 32.500 for the automatic.
