With less camouflage continuing tests of the new-generation 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class which will be presented at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2014.
It is larger and more refined than the current generation , from the pictures we see that features a new front bumper with large air intakes, front grille with double horizontal elements, dual exhaust and rear lights similar to those of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Design features a completely new sports coupe design along the lines of the original Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe, and the design of A-Class and CLA making have sharp lines. The LED luminaires bodies borrow several elements from these renewed Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The new 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be built on the new platform MRA. It has a length of close to 4.7 meters (100 mm longer than the current), while the wheelbase will grow by 80 mm, thus creating more legroom in the rear, with the luggage of touching 500 liters. As for the weight, the standard version C160 will weigh 1,380 pounds, 70 less than you weigh the current generation.
In terms of engines will initially be available with four-cylinder petrol engine 1.6-liters performance 156 hp, the 1.6 dCi Energy 130 of Renault , with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine performance 184, 211 and 252 hp, the 2.2 -liter four-cylinder diesel engine performance 170, 204 and 231 hp, and the 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine performance 333 horsepower.
