After yesterday we saw the back of today it’s time to look around since the Aston Martin unveiled the official during the 24-hour race of Nürburgring. The Aston Martin CC100 Speedster Concept is part of the celebrations of 100th birthday of the company, and is a tribute to the legendary racing DBR1 1959, which took the victory in the race since Le Mans.
It is a two-seater speedster vehicle planning to borrow retro elements than the DBR1 but simultaneously have many modern elements.
Time body entirely made of carbon and mechanically equipped with V12 6,0-liter engine which is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. 0-100 km/h makes about 4 seconds and has a top speed of 290 km/h, electronically limited.
Has a length of 4.5 meters, a width of 2 meters and weighs less than 1,200 pounds. Developed and manufactured in six months at the head of Aston Martin in Gaydon, England, and the market will be released just a copy which has been sold at a price of between €600.000 and €1.2 million.
