While we await the arrival of the future B-segment crossover SsangYong , the South Korean firm in Geneva Motor Show presents Ssangyong SIV-1 Concept forward who will be a mid-size SUV and clear vocation asphalt. It should be located above the Korando.
With 4.5 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.70 meters, SsangYong promises a spacious interior. Logically, this concept is far from the cabin we could see on a street model, both settings (four independent seats) as per design and materials.
Interestingly the brand speaks of two possible motors even when it is a concept. In gasoline say it takes a 1.6 GDI Turbo with 205 hp available with manual or dual-clutch sequential, and always with six speeds.
In diesel novelty lies in the 1.6 TwinTurbo of 150 hp and maximum torque of 360 Nm in combination with manual or automatic, both with six gears. No details of fuel consumption and emissions, but these engines may see them earlier in a more rational configuration on the small crossover segment B.
