Last November at the Tokyo Subaru unveiled the Subaru Levorg Concept, a new concept which the company describes as a “sports tourer”, with pre-orders of the production model to be launched since the beginning of time and the first cars delivered to the May.

The measurements of Photoshop, Theophilus Chin, created two renderings and basically shows us how it could look like the hatchback version of the latest Impreza, the logic of differentiation between the two models. The result is quite a charming whole, fresh design and dare I say most beautiful and the sedan.

The production car will be offered with two different four-cylinder turbocharged engines. A 1600 cc with 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque and a two-liter with 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Regardless of engine, the transmission is continuously variable gear [CVT] and the movement is transmitted to all four wheels.

The name LEVORG is the result of a combination of “Legacy” with the “revolution” and “touring” and although not very sounds good, is if anything feature. It features the new generation of Subaru’s Eyesight system with new security features and support steering wheel controls.

In Japan, the base 1.6 GT model will cost 2.667.600 Yen (18.406 €) while the top version, 2.0 GT-S Eyesight, will cost 3.564.000 Yen (24.591 €).
