The Chevrolet announced that the new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be available in extra equipment system Performance Data Recorder.
This system is nothing other than recording the dynamic characteristics of the car will be officially unveiled at 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which opens in two days in Las Vegas.
The American giant has collaborated in the development of this system by Cosworth and includes a 720 p HD camera mounted on the windshield, a microphone mounted in the cabin and a GPS receiver that receives data on the position of Stingray on the track five times faster than conventional navigation systems.
The driver has the ability to “write” his visit to the track and see through telemetry errors. Everything stored in SD card capacity from 8GB to 32GB which is located in the glovebox, and the data can be analyzed on the main screen of the car or even more detail to the personal computer through the use of software Cosworth Toolbox.
The package price is not yet known, but Chevrolet says it will belong to the extra equipment and will be available by the third quarter of 2014.
