For nearly a decade, the General Motors holds the reins of sales in China in terms of foreign automakers, the Volkswagen looks set to be the change.

Both the German and the American company has set a sales target in 2013, more than 3 million sales, and as the numbers and the two have already succeeded.

The difference is that VW did it faster. How much faster? A week will tell you, giving thus a lead of around 70,000 cars. The VW says that this is just the beginning and I can sell even more cars in an effort to become the largest automaker in the world by 2018, selling all over the world more than the first million vehicles every year.
