The Winfried Vahland, the boss of Skoda, confirmed that the company will introduce a four-door coupe version of the Octavia and a sporty crossover after the presentation of the next generation Fabia.

It is still early for details, but we assume that the Skoda Octavia CC (or whatever name) will follow the design philosophy of the Volkswagen CC. That steep slope in roof line and more sport design while naturally expected to be more expensive than simple Octavia.

As for the crossover, the chief designer of Skoda, Josef Kaban says will be different from the current models of the company, as was the Yeti when presented but “not so trendy”. It is a more expensive (than usual for Skoda) model that will remain contemporary for several years as the Skoda believes that customers will want to keep in their possession for a longer period.

Finally, because Vahland set schedule with reference to the presentation of the new Fabia, sales of new small Skoda will launch in 2015 with an idea for how you will get is probably the Paris exhibition. The company’s goal is to attract a younger crowd and will do this with the various connectivity features that will have the new model.
