BMW to showcase autonomous driving technology at CES

Company will also announced a new collaboration with a "leader in the consumer electronics industry".

BMW revealed plans to present ‘substantially automated driving technologies’ to Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The company refused expanded on the matter but confirmed he will “reveal details of the current R & D project for major automated driving which is designed to increase safety, comfort and performance for both the driver and the traffic system.”

Besides technologies autonomous driving, BMW will present the BMW ConnectedDrive and BMW i Remote application that shows information about the car on the mobile owner.

Finally, the German company will announce a new partnership with a “leader in the industry of consumer electronics”.
