Ford, according to Ford Authority, registered the name Ford “Model E” at the patent office of the U.S. at the beginning of the month.
How it intends to use the Blue Oval this name, there is currently no reference to the above source to do that because it might be used in a prototype.
On the other hand, may just be the company wanted to prevent the Tesla, which the entry-level family sedan preparing, rumored to be called the Model E.
