First 2015 Ford Mustang GT to be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson

Features a 5.0-liter V8 engine with more than 420 bhp (313 kW).

Ford announced that it will auction the first 2015 Ford Mustang GT that will come off the production line in auction Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 18, 2014.

The new Ford Mustang GT will be wearing the 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 420 horses and 528 Nm of torque. After the auction, and since the production of the car will start after a few months, the winner of the new Mustang will be able to choose the color of the car and any interior decor wish.

The money from the auction will be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which is the world’s research on issues of type 1 diabetes.

The Marketing Director of Ford North America, Steve Ling, said:

We begin the next 50 years of Mustang style with a new model featuring a stylish design, world-class performance and innovative technologies. We are excited that the popularity of the Mustang that will favor a help to achieve the dream of eradicating this new diabetes.
