Chevrolet SS

With the announcement of General Motors to close factories Holden in Australia until the end of 2017 still fresh in our memories, not clear whether and how to continue to have the historic brand for Australia.

Most likely according to what we know, are some of the models of Holden manufactured elsewhere and then imported to Australia. One of these models, it is probably the Holden Commodore, which in the U.S. called the Chevrolet SS. According to information, therefore, the production of the Commodore, will be transferred to U.S. and then imported into Australia. This will happen from 2015 onwards, and barring the unexpected, the new SS will be based on the upcoming Zeta II platform. The GM even said he thinks construct something like “sport-wagon” version or even the Australian-as-the-kangaroo, Ute, but still nothing is certain.
