1977 Ford Escort MK2 RS1800 driven by Colin McRae will be auctioned

Expected to fetch between 65,000 and 85,000 GBP.

The Ford Escort Mk2 RS1800 1977 you see in the picture, developed and built by Prepfab Motorsport Engineering and tested by unjustly shed Colin McRae.

His father drove to victory in the 2006 Roger Albert Clark Rally and two years later, his brother won the Colin McRae Memorial Rally. The reconstructed 2009 and has since won the Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca in both 2010 and 2011.

The race is then, will be auctioned on February 22, at Race Retro by Silverstone Auctions and expected to “catch” from 65,000 to 85,000 pounds (78.000-102.000 €).
