The BMW unveiled the BMW i8 Concept Spyder at the Beijing Auto Show in 2012 and it seems that the model finally adopted for production.
This information comes from the Bimmer Post says that in council held on Friday past, presented a version production in Solar Orange color and blue accents to executives who gave the green light.
Under the hood will be a TwinPower Turbo 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 231 hp performance and 320Nm of torque will be combined with an electric motor will contribute 131 horses and 250Nm extra. Thus, the total power will amount to 362 hp and 570Nm of torque.
If the program rolling without surprises, the i8 Spyder will occur sometime in late 2015.
