The new 2014 MINI John Cooper Works Concept will be officially unveiled in January, the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but the MINI has decided to gift us some pictures.

The presentation of the John Cooper Works Concept follows the presentation of the third generation MINI and this, the company starts to give flesh and bones to the range. As you can see from the photos, the JCW has aggressive bodykit and new design alloy wheels 18 inch.

Stealing the show in front, with countless vents and black grille and at the rear of the stand centrally positioned twin exhaust tailpipes and the diffuser. The roof ends in a small spoiler and several parts of the body are designed to direct the air where it needs and improves the aerodynamic balance of the vehicle at high speeds.

More information is available but we assume that the production version, under the hood you lies a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder with a yield of at least 217 horsepower. Sales JCW will begin sometime in 2014.
