As we approach the beginning of 2014, the period that we have learned how to present the crossover of the SEAT, as we learn new information about it.
So far, we know that based on the Group MQB platform and will be positioned opposite the VW Tiguan and Nissan Qashqai. Now, thanks to Auto Express, we learned that the code name is Tribu and that has influences from Leon . The model will be toned and muscular bonnet, LED lights and distinctive profile. Also, it has a plastic clothes to protect the body in off-road rides and squared “off road” domes.
Although so far we do not know anything about the specs of Tribu, it is reasonable to assume that will be offered with the same (more or less) motors that are in range of Seat.
The crossover has not yet gotten the green light but this, according to the report is a formality which will be resolved within the next week. As I said at the beginning of 2014 will see the concept and sales will begin in 2016 if all goes according to plan.
