The new 2015 Volvo XC90 goes on sale in late 2014 with the Swedish company gave details of the new modular platform Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) based its new SUV.

The SPA platform is made of soft steel, high and very high strength, extra high strength steel, ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum.

Design, the XC90 will be the first model of the Swedes, which will be built in collaboration with the Chinese parent company Geely, will be available exclusively with the new Drive-E four-cylinder engines and will borrow design elements from the Volvo XC Concept Coupé.

It is equipped with six safety systems with the first being the pedestrian detection system in the dark which allows the car to detect objects even in the evening. Once you find an object in front of the car will alert the driver if he does not respond then it will automatically brake the car to avoid an accident.

Follows the Road Edge and Barrier Detection With Steer Assist, which is similar to the system warning lane change. The system only detects a vehicle must not deviate from the path, then returns it into the strip. The system works on the streets without striping, since it uses a camera and a radar that constantly reads the road.
