[Report] 2015 Ford F-150 delayed due to problems with its aluminum body panels

Next Ford F-150, the king of pick-up, will be used in several parts of the body and aluminum rumored to be presented in the second quarter of 2014 but suppliers confided to The Truth About Cars how the presentation will be delayed due to problems in aluminum was used.

According to sources, therefore, aluminum (actually aluminum alloy) supplied to Ford , Alcoa and other Tier 2 suppliers “did not meet the requirements for the test equipment in the phase of pre-production.” Consequently, the program Dearborn Truck Plant, will be delayed 6-10 weeks.
