German media reported that the new BMW 7-Series will go on sale in late 2015 and will be available in long-wheelbase version to compete with the long version of the Mercedes S-Class. The model has been codenamed G11 main feature is that it weighs at least 200 pounds weighs less than the current generation.

Performance BMW will equip the new 2015 BMW 7-Series with a series of cylindrical-4, 6-cylinder and V8 engines performance 260, 340 and 460 hp respectively. Rumors said that BMW may remove the 6.0-liter V12 engine in the next 760Li. The M770i xDrive plug-in hybrid version will be wearing a twin-turbo V8 4,0-liter engine performance 482 hp with 650 Nm of torque.
Finally there will be a quick release but not called M7, a more likely name the 760 xDrive M Performance, which will be equipped with a more powerful version of the 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine.
