The Andy Palmer vice president of sales and marketing at Nissan confirmed that the next generation GT-R will have a hybrid engine. The Nismo will lead the development of next Nissan GT-R, with the hybrid technology coming from Williams, featuring cylinder deactivation system and Start / Stop. Will occur sometime in 2015 and will release in 2016 .
