Audi Q1, the small crossover that prepares the German company, according to the latest reports, based on a short version of the MQB platform of the VW Group, which will use it and the next generation of the VW Polo.
Q1 is expected to have a length of 4 meters, width 1.75 meters and height of 1.57 meters and under the bonnet will come across petrol and diesel engines. Among the first will be the three-cylinder 1.0-liters by VW, the 1.2-liters TFSI, the 1.4-liters TDI, the 1.6-liters TDI and TSI 1.6-iters with the latter to produce 200 horses in version SQ1. Also there will be a plug-in hybrid version that combines the 1.4-liters TFSI and an electric motor, yielding a total of 204 horses with 350 Nm of torque.
All engines will be mated to either a manual gearbox or a new 10-speed DSG, which will send the traffic to either front or all-wheel drive.
Will be presented in early 2016 with an initial price in England to £ 16.000 (€ 18.700).
