2014 BMW X4 has been spied again undergoing testing on the Nürburgring. The new X4 concept is a first previews, and show earlier this year at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The car is based on the BMW X3 platform and basically a smaller brother to the X6 model. The car features a coupe like crossover design.
The 2014 BMW X4 Concept has enough camouflage, it’s to hide the final look of this car. But the X4 concept looks like the production model.
The new X4 engine line-up is expected to carry over from the BMW X3:
- A TwinPower Turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder with 240bhp & 352 Nm of torque
- A TwinPower Turbo 3.0-litre inline-6 with 300bhp & 406 Nm of torque
- A 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel with 184bhp & 380 of torque
The new 2014 BMW X4 will be built in South Carolina, United States. And the BMW X4 production model is expected to debut in early next-year at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (North American International Auto Show).
