Smart has published a design sketch about new design hatchback and this depicting the upcoming fourjoy concept which will be unveiled next week on September 10th at Frankfurt Motor Show.
With the Smart fourjoy concept, this prototype is offering a first glimpse at the next-generation of the Smart ForTwo and the concept will be comes with a 4-seater & could have removable doors. For front exterior this concept is a prominent grille, host to sweptback headlights, & generous fog lights. Described as a “forerunner of a new smart generation”, fourjoy should come with big alloy wheels residing within the muscular wheel arches.
Smart USA General Manager Mark Webster said, the next-gen ForTwo design will be “a change but not a breakthrough” & the model will most likely be available in “different editions & different variants.” As for the next-gen Smart ForTwo, this car is will be go on sale early 2015 in Europe & several months later in the U.S.. The new ForTwo will be approximately 25-50mm (1-2 inches) longer & 76-101mm (3-4 inches) wider than the current model of ForTwo.
