2014 Ford F150 will be available with engines that consume natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It is important to mention the car won’t run on CNG/LPG straight from the factory as they must be fitted with a separate fuel system by a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier.

Depending on fuel tank size, this procedure will cost from 7,500 to 9,500 USD. The Ford F150 CNG/LPG package is available for the V6 3.7-liter engine and comes with hardened valves, pistons, rings and valve seats so it can run on gasoline or natural gas. 2014 F-150 can travel for 750 miles (1,207 km) with a single tank of gas which means, it will average the equivalent of 23 mpg on the highway.
