Audi celebrates the 25 years of cooperation with the Chinese First Automotive Works (FAW) and announces that prepares a new plug-in hybrid car which will be sold exclusively in the China market.

The Rupert Stadler, CEO of Audi said the car will have an internal combustion engine which is combined with an electric motor. Further details were not reported except that the car can be recharged using simple household outlet.

When the model goes on sale Audi is not announced, but the model, according to Stadler, will be an important milestone that will strengthen its position in the Audi world and will help significantly to the goal of 2 million sales annually by 2020.
