2014 McLaren 12C Spider facelift spied hiding minor front changes, new headlights and front bumper

We recently saw a McLaren MP4-12C which had camouflaged the front part. Everyone assumed that this is the facelift version of the British supercar, but if true the reference to the UK site, Autocar, then the car was mule P13, the entry-level supercar prepared by the McLaren.

The model will be passed to the production in 2015 and placed under the MP4-12C. It costs close to € 120.000 and share enough parts from older models of the company, such as carbon fiber monocoque chassis and turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine, which however will pay close to 450-500 horsepower. The reason these options are simple, McLaren has already tested the strength of that chassis and thus save both time and money.

The engine is combined with a 7-speed automatic double clutch Graziano, giving the car the ability to do 0-100 km/h in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 322 km/h. The McLaren P13 will come across the category Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 V10.
