It’s been about 6 months since the last time we dealt with GAS (Galpin Auto Sports) GTR-1 and to a degree we had forgotten / written off as another ambitious project has not gone before.
But solemnly dashed when a few days ago, it was announced that the GAS GTR-1, a supercar inspired by the Ford GT but 12.7 centimeters wider than this, with horsepower reaches 1024 horses and torque of around 1001Nm, will be presented at Pebble Beach Concours d ‘Elegance!
Deliveries will begin by the end of this year and as we write, although the GTR-1 will be presented with a body made entirely of aluminum, the buyer will be able to choose between that or carbon fiber. Also, the interior is completely customizable according to customer’s wishes.
The GAS GTR-1 will be “extremely limited production” and more evidence for both performance and price to be announced in August, just before the Pebble Beach.
