Tests of Honda Civic Tourer continued and the Japanese company announced that the Wagon version of the Civic will be equipped with adjustable rear suspension. The model will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show with system (Adaptive Damper System) placed first in car production and regulate the hardness of the shock absorbers of the rear wheels. It has three modes Comfort, Normal and Dynamic with the driver to choose the program via a button on the center console.
The Honda Civic Tourer will come across the Volkwagen Golf Variant, Ford Focus Wagon and Kia Cee’d Sportswagon. It has a considerably larger trunk than its competitors, since this will be bigger than 610 liters of Octavia Combi.
Performance will be equipped with their own motors which time the hatchback version and the version with the turbodiesel 1.6-liters Earth Dream 120 hp engine performance with 300 Nm of torque, to emit less than 100 g/km CO2 while compared with the hatchback version will weigh about 40 pounds more. The sale will start from the beginning of 2014.
