ZiL Limo replacement contest winners announced, good enough for Putin?

A few months ago, the Marussia Motors has asked her fans to plan how they imagine the new limousine Vladimir Putin. More than 120 proposals were tabled by winners after two voters emerged as Yaroslav Yakovlev and Bernd Weel who designed the car you see.

The winners got a prize of 15,000 rubles (3,700 EUR) with both of them to create an imposing limousine which expresses “strength and power”.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken some time the decision to replace the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman with ZIL 4112P, the new Russian limousine but Putin did not seem particularly impressed by the prototype designed by Zil. It remains to be seen whether the likes Russian proposal Marussia.
