As we approach the Frankfurt Motor Show, the flare are rumors that the Ferrari to present the fast version of the Ferrari 458 Italia, 458 Scuderia or Monte Carlo.
It’s been 3 years since the presentation of the “plain” model, and such a move, it seems more than reasonable. Regarding the transmission of hardcore version of the news is confusing as originally heard that Ferrari will not provide them with the dual-clutch gearbox which now wears the 458 Italia but in position to get a more brutal single clutch that can lift the increased horsepower and torque of the model. The other solution is to use the existing transmission further advanced and new gearing speeds.
Other changes are expected to have the brakes being larger, tighter suspension and better tires. Mechanically the V8 engine is expected to reach 600 horses of 562 which is the “normal road” 458, wearing new forged connecting rods, reprogrammed brain, more “free” evaporation and the cutter coming up to 9,300 rpm from 9,000 rpm it is now.
All these changes will give acceleration 0-100 km/h in less than 3.4 seconds while the final will be more than 325 km/h.
