The Skoda revealed today the 2013 Spaceback version of Rapid. The car has the same wheelbase as that of the sedan version (2.602mm) with the model is spoiler, while the additional equipment found large glass sunroof and tinted windows.
The length has been reduced to 4.303 mm (4.483 mm the sedan version) but because of the same wheelbase, the available space for rear passengers has remained the same. The boot stands at 415 liters but by folding down the rear seat is up to 1,380 liters.
Initially will be sold with four petrol and two diesel yield from 75 to 122 horsepower. Among the engines there is the 1.6 TDI 90 hp performance with average consumption of 3.8 l/100 km and 99 g/km emission of CO2.
The official presentation will take place in September in Frankfurt Motor Show 2013, with sales to begin in Europe in October. From a security perspective, the Skoda has fitted the Rapid Spaceback with 6 airbags, adjustable three-point seatbelts, ABS, ESC, while the additional equipment are xenon light fixtures, system hill hold, tire pressure system and several more.
