The Jaguar has completed the design of the SUV, which will be called XQ or Q-Type, and will be constructed on a smaller platform XJ. The car features a steeply raked windshield, thin luminaires while borrows elements from both the XJ and the F-Type.
The SUV will be wearing engines of Jaguar-Land Rover, where among them will be the 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine performance of 240 hp, the 2.0-liter turbodiesel and a new 4-cylinder engine Hotfire, which will be built at new JLR factory in Wolverhampton. Quite likely the car again and stronger V6 3,0-liter petrol and diesel engines performance to 340 hp, while the board is the proposal for a hybrid version.
The model will be presented in 2015 by moving to transfer to the rear wheels, while the extra equipment there will be all-wheel drive.
In related news, the Jaguar Land Rover has announced that the first six months saw sales rise by 14%, having sold 210,190 cars. The Jaguar sold 37,636 cars (+29%), while Land Rover 172.554 cars (+11%).
