2014 Audi A8 facelift spied in the evening showing its taillights, arriving before the end of the year

Once again we see pictures of the redesigned Audi A8 that will debut at Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2014 Audi A8 will have new bumpers, new light fixtures front-back and new tailpipes. Interior the A8 will acquire new infotainment systems and possibly new dashboard.

Under the hood is not expected to change so we can expect to see the 3.0-liter V6 TDI, the 3.0-liter V6 TFSI, the 4.0-liter V8 TFSI and 4.2-liter V8 TDI. The hybrid version will still be equipped with the 2.0-liter TFSI and an electric motor, while the top models will be equipped with twin-turbo V8 4,0-liter TFSI and W12 6,3-liter FSI 500 hp performance.

The model will be the first car from Audi that will wear the new Matrix LED luminaires, which consist of 25 LED diodes to high beam and five reflectors. When the lights are on automatic, activated at 30 km/h when driving at highway and 60 km/h in the city.

The special camera recognizes when car comes from the opposite stream, thereby adjusting the mirrors, the left luminaire so that the beam of light does not ever bother the driver of the passing car. The right luminaire continues to illuminate normal way, so that the driver always sees a bright, uniform and much more efficient white light produced.
