2013 Caterham 620R officially revealed, replaces range-topping R500

Caterham has revealed the 2013 Caterham 620R which will serve as a replacement for the range-topping R500 model and will Set to make its public debut this weekend at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Equipped with the 2.0-liter Duratec engine Ford Performance 315 bhp at 7,700 rpm with 296 Nm of torque at 7,350 rpm, allowing the car to do 0-96 km/h in 2.79 seconds.

Caterham 620R sales will begin in 2013 with an original price £ 49.995 (€ 58.000), making the model more expensive by £ 7.500 compared to R500. It comes with a gunmetal chassis and a race-spec cooling system, together with a new nose cone modified to improve airflow, new grille improves air intake, wheels 13-inch with Avon ZZR tires, racing steering wheel, racing seats, carbon decorations and new dashboard.
