The new Jaguar XJ will be coming to market in 2016 and the mechanic will be available in plug-in hybrid version. This version will be wearing the same engine that wore Jaguar XJ_e Plug-in Hybrid Study.

It combines a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine which works with an electric motor 93 horsepower. Overall delivers 334 horses with 0-100 km/h can do in 6.5 seconds with a top speed limited to 250 km/h. Has an average consumption of 3.2 l/100 km and 75 g/km emission of CO2. It can move only on the electric motor for 40 km and total autonomy reaches 1092 km.
