Drayson Racing has the video of the record made by the B12 69/EV, with his driver, Paul Drayson, to catch the runway of RAF Elvington length 3 km, a top speed of 328.63 km/h.
The B12 69/EV time carbon fiber chassis and a Lola LMP1 machine equipped with four electric motors which are powered by a battery 30 kWh. Delivers a 640 kW (870 horses), but during the record, there was a lighter battery with 20 kWh electric motor to deliver 480 kW (653 hp). The 0-96 km/h makes 3 seconds while the 0-161 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
The previous record was held by Battery Box General Electric from 1974 to 281.64 km/h.
