The famous white Lotus Esprit that was underwater and the film “The Spy Who Loved Me” by James Bond will go on auction from the house RM Auctions in September in London.
The car was built by Perry Oceanographic and it cost close to 77,000 EUR (present value close to 385,000 EUR).
After the end of filming, the car was sent to New York where he stored for 10 years. In 1989 the contents of the warehouse was sold in a blind auction, with new owners are surprised when they saw it in the store there was this car.
The RM Auctions says the specific Lotus is one of the most famous cars of all time and believes the price will catch will be big enough.
