According to the COO of Renault, Carlos Tavares the new 2015 Renault Twingo will have “huge potential”, targeted at male drivers and will be available exclusively as a 5-door. The Tavares also said it has several personalization options, such as the Fiat 500 and Opel Adam.
As we know, the new Renault Twingo built on the same rear-wheel drive platform that will once and the new Smart Forfour. By moving back, Tavares said the new Twingo will have a relatively large cabin for such a long car.
Designers borrows from both the Twin’Run concept and from Twin’Z Concept. Both the Twingo and the Fortfour will be manufactured at the plant of Renault, in Novo Mesto in Slovenia and is expected to wear the same range of petrol and diesel engines where among them there will be a purely electric version. Will debut in late 2014.
