Ford showcases their Electronic Brake Light system, promises to help drivers avoid or mitigate collisions

The Ford presents its new security system, the Electronic Brake Light which is part of the technology car-to-car.

It aims to help drivers avoid accidents, since notifies them if the car in front has braked suddenly. Once the system perceive something, then visually alert the driver. The Ford during testing discovered that the system helps drivers to brake sooner, thus avoiding accidents.

The Ford, in addition to this system, try 19 more safety systems as part of the Safe Intelligent Mobility – Testfield Germany (simTD).
