Audi has won for another year the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and this is the second consecutive victory for Audi R18 e-tron quattro. The winning trio of drivers is the Duval / Kristensen / McNish which was the one that started from the pole position.
This was the twelfth victory of the company with the four rings and the most difficult of the following changes to the regulations. The rain made for another year the appearance of regularly, which made the match progresses even more dramatic, with the entry of the safety car to place eleven times. The track was under a yellow flag for more than five hours to clean and make any repairs needed.
Second finished the Stephane Sarrazin, Anthony Davidson and Sebastien Buemi with Team Toyota and the TS030 Hybrid , while in third place was another Audi R18 e-tron quattro with drivers Oliver Jarvis, Marc Gené and Lucas di Grassi.
