It was September 2010, when the Jaguar unveiled in Paris Motor Show the Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid Concept, a prototype that was built to celebrate the 75th birthday. Had engines with turbines which had excites everyone, since the beginning we thought that maybe passed with such engines in production.
Eventually the Jaguar, unfortunately, decided not to pass on the production Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid, having found that the investment required will have gains for the company. However it has already built five prototypes, with 3 being sold at some future auction, one will be kept in the museum of the Jaguar and the other will be turning in various exhibitions around the world.
One of them tried it the UK Autocar and brings us his impressions. Mechanical time the twin-turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine 1.6-liters of Williams F1, which is combined with two electric motors and delivers “just” 507 horses. 0-100 km/h makes about 3 seconds, and the 0 to 160 km/h to less than 6 seconds, having top speed 322 km/h.
However the Jaguar said p as several automotive technology will go in production. What do you think? Model had to go in production? Maybe Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918 Spyder acquired even an opponent.
